Timberland Home Inspections LLC

Timberland Home Inspections LLC is a home inspector in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serving the Kalamazoo and Portage area and all of Southwest Michigan. The company performs home inspections, radon testing and pest inspections, and offers a HomeBinder sample report. Its pricing covers single-family dwellings, condominiums and multi-family buildings, with rates set by square footage. A standard home inspection includes one attached or detached garage, and additional outbuildings are priced separately. Radon testing and pest inspections are available either alongside an inspection or on their own; pest inspections are carried out by Pest Pros of Michigan and Exact Pest, a state-licensed pest control company that bills separately. Pools and hot tubs are not part of a standard home inspection. The team includes Tim Williams, CPI, and Drew Drager, CPI, both Certified Professional Inspectors, with Janie Williams serving as office manager and main contact. Tim Williams has more than 10 years of experience in the industrial maintenance field and has completed over 500 hours of home inspection training. Inspections follow InterNACHI's Residential Standards of Practice, and the company describes its work as non-biased and thorough, with detailed reports that describe a home's major components in pictures and writing and flag findings that relate to safety or major financial impact. Every inspection includes a free copy of a nearly 100-page Home Maintenance Manual. Timberland Home Inspections holds a rating of 4.80 from the customers who have reviewed it. For buyers, sellers and homeowners in Kalamazoo and Portage, the company pairs certified training and a fixed, square-footage-based pricing structure with reports built to support an informed decision.
