Salus Wellness Spa traces its origins to 2003, when it began as Jenison Clinical Massage Therapy. The business expanded to Grandville in 2009, adopting the name Salus Massage Therapy and hiring its first staff members. In 2015, the spa added skin care services and expanded its office by 750 square feet. Following a pause during the pandemic, the business returned to Jenison in 2021 with a facility twice the size of its previous location, now operating as a full wellness center. The name Salus derives from the Roman goddess of health and well-being. The spa primarily caters to clients with chronic pain problems and sports-related injuries. The team includes skilled therapists and aestheticians who provide personalized treatments. Services include tailored massage therapy options ranging from relaxation to deep tissue, with complementary hot towels and essential oils upon request. Facials involve cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and the application of masks and serums tailored to skin type. Skin care offerings also include body treatments, waxing, lash extensions, and lash lifts.

Float therapy sessions take place in sensory deprivation tanks filled with 10 inches of water mixed with Epsom salts, allowing the body to float effortlessly. Infrared saunas use infrared lamps to warm the body directly at temperatures between 120°F and 140°F. Hydromassage uses warm water that flows and contours to the body. The spa also offers flexible membership options for frequent enthusiasts and occasional visitors.

Salus Wellness Spa provides therapeutic massage and relaxation services to the Jenison community.
