Its stated mission is to help customers build their exit to safety, with the vision of ensuring safety and peace of mind for homeowners and their loved ones. The main goal is that every home with individuals living in the basement can receive an egress window. The company describes itself as a small business where many employees have been with the team since the start, including owner Tomasz, CEO Anna, and crew leads Duane and Zack, along with additional installers and office staff. The company also notes that Low-E glass is tax deductible and energy efficient. Egress codes followed include a clear net opening of 5.47 square feet minimum, an opening less than 44 inches off the basement floor, a well with 9 square feet of space and a 36-inch projection, a fixed ladder on any well taller than 36 inches, a drain connected to existing drain tile, Low-E glass, a steel header where no existing header is present, and a grate or plastic cover on top of the well.
