Originally established in 1875 as Crescent Street Flowers, the business has been creating floral masterpieces for 149 years. Owner Tracy Thomas brings over 35 years of experience, having started her passion for floral design as a child while handing out supplies during her grandmother’s college classes. Her career spans work in greenhouses, floral wholesalers, event and production studios, and managing various floral shops. In 2015, Tracy and her family relocated to Michigan from Hawaii. Before opening her current location, she served as design manager for another local Grand Rapids floral shop, where the business received two peer-driven awards: the national "Retail Florist of the Year" from Florists' Review magazine and the "Michigan Florist of the Year" award.

The shop operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 2:00 PM EST, with substitutions made only as necessary to maintain beauty, color, and price value. Beyond standard arrangements, the business offers specialized subscription packages including Sunlit Meadow, Antonia, Meadowland Blooms, Wrapped Meadow Melody, Plumtastic, Urban Spring, Sugar Sweet, Tropical Garden, Blossom Radiance, Golden Romance, Sweet Blooms, Eternal Blooms, Succulent Garden, and Petal Harmony.

Crescent Floral & Gifts combines nearly 150 years of heritage with Tracy Thomas’s extensive design expertise to deliver fresh, locally sourced floral arrangements to Grand Rapids and the surrounding Michigan communities.
