Instant Keys

Instant Keys is a locksmith in Detroit, MI, operating around the clock to serve drivers throughout Metro Detroit. The business focuses on automotive locksmith work and handles car key replacement, transponder and high-security key cutting, remote and fob key programming, ignition repairs, and vehicle, home, and building lockouts. With a rating of 4.90 across 147 reviews, Instant Keys has built a reputation for fast response and knowledgeable technicians across the region.

The shop maintains hours from 6am ET to 6pm ET Monday through Saturday, while dispatching technicians for lockouts 24/7. Their key inventory covers standard keys, laser and Tibbe cuts, transponder keys, intelligent or proximity smart keys, standard remotes, FOB and proxy keys, and remote key heads. Technicians use computerized cutting machines for high-security and laser-cut keys and carry specialized equipment to program most transponder keys and remote or proxy keys on the spot. The business accepts all major credit cards.

Instant Keys has years of experience in the trade and frames itself as a partner in vehicle security rather than a general locksmith counter. Services are delivered from a Detroit base, and the team handles emergencies for stranded drivers, duplicate key workflows for owners who want a spare, and full programming for lost or replacement keys. The mobile, on-call component means a technician is dispatched to the customer's vehicle or building rather than requiring a drop-off visit.

A 4.90 rating across 147 reviews reflects sustained customer satisfaction, and that depth of feedback is uncommon for a single-location locksmith. Serving Metro Detroit around the clock, Instant Keys is a local resource for drivers facing lockouts, lost keys, or ignition problems at any hour.
