PW-Storage

PW-Storage is a storage facility in Westbrook, Maine, renting new one-way steel shipping containers for construction sites and other uses. The fleet consists of new one-way shipping containers built to global ISO container standards, rust-free and weatherproof. Containers are delivered directly to a customer's site and picked up when the job is finished, and the company notes that a container is easier to relocate and more affordable than traditional self-storage. Uses include construction jobsites, equipment and machinery storage, inventory, household items, remodeling projects, and dry goods. Available units include 20-foot and 40-foot shipping containers and office trailer containers, all measuring 8 feet 6 inches high by 8 feet wide, along with a 20-foot climate control unit. A 20-foot container can hold a vehicle as well as tools and materials. Rentals run month to month, with a minimum six-month rental period for construction containers. The first month's rent, delivery, and return pickup fees are paid in advance, and once the signed lease and payment are received a unit is typically delivered within 48 hours. Subsequent monthly rent can be paid by check or credit card. Customers are responsible for insuring the container and its contents during the rental period. The business holds a rating of 5.00.

The facility sits on Stroudwater St, about half a mile from Westbrook Street and the Maine Turnpike, and roughly the same distance from the Westbrook Arterial and Larrabee Road. The Stroudwater River is about six-tenths of a mile away, and Westbrook Middle School is a similar distance.

PW-Storage's customers describe the yard as safe, secure, and easy to get in and out of, with one long-term renter noting the convenience of keeping a vehicle minutes from the airport.
