Maine Motor Transport Association

Maine Motor Transport Association is a trucking organization in Augusta, Maine, serving as the spokesperson for the Maine trucking industry since 1946. It is a trade association made up of a diverse membership that seeks ways to positively impact highway safety and provide leadership on issues that affect Maine's future. It works to improve motor transportation services by providing leadership and assistance to persons and firms in the industry and by cooperating with public officials and interested parties, and it fosters and promotes safety on the highways. It affiliates with or establishes working relationships with other associations, including the American Trucking Associations, Inc., and acts as the medium for the collective views of its members on matters affecting the motor transportation industry. Its Safety Management Council and Maine Truck PAC are among its standing bodies.
