The pests the company addresses on a regular basis include hornets, wasps, and bees, which sting and pose a danger to people with allergies; mosquitoes, which suck blood and can carry diseases including EEE and malaria; powder post beetles, which damage wood in structures such as barns and beams in log houses; rodents, which spread disease, destroy food, and contaminate surfaces; beetles found in flour, dog food, and cereal products; silverfish, which live in high humidity areas such as wall voids, floor boards, and hot water tank coverings; fleas, which cause itching, soreness, and rashes; and ants, including carpenter ants that damage structures. Termites are noted as a concern more common to the south and seldom found in Maine.

The business works on what it calls the Maine Way, focused on free inspections, fair pricing, and targeted exclusion work rather than broad chemical application.
