Caliber Tree Services assesses each property before recommending work, and its arborists determine whether a tree can be preserved through structural supports, corrective pruning, or targeted care rather than removed. The company installs dynamic, static, and brace cabling, including threaded steel rod braces and flexible high-strength cable, to support individual limbs and reduce stress from heavy foliage, ice, snow, and high winds. Tree health services include inspecting trunks for decay and cankers, checking branches for deadwood and disease, examining root systems for damage or competition, and evaluating leaf health and growth patterns. Crews also perform soil testing and root care, crown thinning to improve light penetration and air circulation, and structural pruning for young trees. Stumps are cut flush to the ground or removed completely, and wood is cut into measured logs for storage or disposal. The company provides written proposals and free consultations, and its staff updates their skills on current techniques and equipment.
