Ray founded the studio and remains its lead cover-up artist, taking most cover-up clients to transform old, faded, or unwanted tattoos into custom pieces. He specializes in bold color work, vibrant florals, animals, and high-impact designs. The other artists on the team include Cookieman DTM, Papermanctus, and Never_basic. They offer traditional, neo-traditional, illustrative, geometric, Japanese, and blackwork styles, though the studio does not perform photo-realism. The team also handles delicate floral, script, minimalist, and geometric ideas, as well as custom cultural and tribal work featuring African and Caribbean imagery. A part-time piercer is available for ear, nose, and body placements on selected days, requiring customers to call ahead to confirm availability. The studio requires a clear photo assessment before scheduling a consultation or session. Ray reviews the old tattoo to determine what can be covered and what the new design needs. The studio also offers two small tattoos sized to fit within a business-card area. Free touch-ups are provided for their work within six months of healing. The studio has been featured in a CBS Baltimore piercing guide and noted in editorial features. The 4.60 rating reflects a positive standing among the customers who have reviewed it. The studio is recognized for its clean environment and the artists’ ability to listen to client ideas. Ray is noted for his work on dark skin and his honest assessments of cover-up possibilities.
