4M Pools, LLC of Linthicum is a pool service company in Linthicum, Maryland, serving homeowners throughout Anne Arundel County, including Annapolis, Severna Park, Arnold, Pasadena, Millersville, Crofton, Edgewater, and Gambrills. The company handles weekly pool maintenance, pool openings and closings, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and repairs, along with high-end pool renovations that include tile, coping, and plaster work. It holds a rating of 4.90 from customer reviews.

4M Pools was founded by Charlie Schindler, a lifelong Maryland resident with more than 10 years of experience in the pool industry. His connection to the water began early, swimming competitively from age four through college, and he started working with pools as a lifeguard at 16. He later earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from Widener University, and the company applies that technical background and attention to detail to pool care. The team includes a Certified Pool Operator through the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance. As a locally owned and operated company, it emphasizes clear communication, honest recommendations, and consistent service.

The company's approach to weekly maintenance centers on the conditions pools in Anne Arundel County face, including summer humidity, heavy pollen, seasonal storms, and temperature swings that affect water chemistry. Without consistent weekly service, water can become unbalanced, leading to cloudy water and algae as well as longer-term damage to plaster, tile, and equipment; improper chemical levels can etch surfaces, cause staining, and strain pumps, filters, and heaters. Weekly service keeps water balanced, monitors the system, and catches small issues early. 4M Pools offers a free pre-season check with a booked pool opening, including water testing, chemical treatment, and inspection of pool equipment.

The business is located on Ventnor Road in Linthicum, Maryland, and holds MHIC #140643.
