Sueno Tattoo of Laurel

Sueno Tattoo of Laurel is a tattoo shop in Laurel, MD. The studio creates custom tattoos, from realistic black-and-gray work to traditional, fine line, flash, and cover-up pieces, and offers free consultations before booking. Sueno Tattoo is led by Jose, a licensed artist tattooing under the Sueno Tattoo brand since 2009. The studio focuses on custom work, realism and black-and-gray shading, traditional American pieces, fine line tattoos, cover-ups, flash, and clear client planning. What makes the process different is how much conversation happens before the tattoo starts. Whether it is a first tattoo or a tenth, the studio takes time to understand placement, meaning, and what the piece should feel like once healed. Clients can bring references, notes, or a rough idea and work with Jose to shape it into artwork that fits the body. The studio is a smaller, more personal shop where every client gets real attention, with a focus on direct communication, fair pricing, no surprises, and detail work planned carefully before the appointment. Jose specializes in traditional tattoos, black-and-gray realism, fine line, cover-ups, botanical work, and custom designs. The process stays collaborative, but the artist is direct about what will and will not translate well to skin. Custom design also means making practical decisions about line weight, contrast, skin tone, body movement, and future aging. The studio is Maryland state licensed and health department approved, certified in bloodborne pathogen prevention, and uses hospital-grade autoclaves for sterilization. The studio has served over 1,800 satisfied clients since 2009. Client reviews describe smooth and consistent line work and black-and-gray shading, careful attention during the process, and designs that bring visions to life. Sueno Tattoo of Laurel holds a rating of 5.00 based on 85 verified 5-star reviews on Google, reflecting a positive reputation among the customers who have reviewed it.
