The Stewart

The Stewart is a bar in Easton, MD, set on Federal Street and devoted to single malt Scotch, vintage Champagne, and a short, carefully chosen menu of small and large plates. The space reads as a classic Highland whisky room, with dark woods, tartans, and a glowing fireplace, and the collection runs across Scotland's storied regions and into rare aged expressions. The Champagne list runs from Krug and Billecart-Salmon through Dom Perignon Rose and Salon Le Mesnil, and the Scotch list includes Rosebank 30 year, Brora 34 year, Macallan No.6, Laphroaig 30 year, and Glenfiddich 30 year. The cocktail program covers classics such as the Old Fashioned and Rob Roy alongside house drinks like The Chef Peety, The First Lady, and The Winston, and the kitchen turns out dishes such as a braised short rib grilled cheese on house-made rye, caviar French fries, a wasabi lobster roll with optional kaluga caviar, sticky toffee pudding, a local crab cake with grilled eggplant, and a Prime beef burger.
