Ella Scott Design of Bethesda

Ella Scott Design of Bethesda is an interior designer in Bethesda, MD. Founded in 2001 by principal Sandra Meyer, the firm serves residential clients throughout the Washington, DC area, with projects concentrated in Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac, Leesburg, Northern Virginia, and the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Virginia. The studio provides comprehensive interior design services for new builds, renovations, and redesigns, working across kitchen and bathroom remodels as well as indoor and outdoor living spaces. It holds a rating of 5.00 based on the reviews it has received.

The firm's design process covers space planning, remodeling finishes, custom upholstery, window treatments, lighting design, furniture and artwork selections, and project management from concept through completion. For clients with more extensive needs, such as custom home builds or major renovations, the team coordinates a network of contractors, architects, and craftspeople across Maryland, Virginia, and DC, managing the design, logistics, and trades involved. The studio's point of view leans toward a clean approach to whatever genre the project calls for, whether modern, classic, or a mix, with a goal of creating spaces that are tailored to each client's lifestyle and aesthetic while also pushing beyond the expected.

The team is led by Sandra Meyer as principal, with Dana Wright as Director of Operations, Roshni Lelinwalla and Pamela Basanez as Senior Interior Designer and Project Managers, Mariana Miranda as Interior Designer and Installation Coordinator, and Obie as Head of Office Security. The firm describes its approach as a collaborative melding of the client's vision with its own design judgment, aiming for interiors that feel cohesive, interesting, and built to stand the test of time.

The studio is located on Hampden Lane, near Woodmont Avenue, Arlington Road, and Montgomery Lane, and within walking distance of Bethesda Row and the Shoppes of Bethesda. A UPS Store location sits close by on the same block.

Drawing on more than two decades of residential work in the Washington, DC region, Ella Scott Design brings a long-established Bethesda-based team to homeowners seeking tailored interiors across Maryland and Northern Virginia.
