Morgatech Auto Repair

Morgatech Auto Repair is a transmission shop in Beltsville, MD. The shop services automatic and manual transmissions, catching wear early before it becomes a full rebuild, and also handles brake repair, suspension and steering, AC and heating, engine diagnostics, auto electrical work, and routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid checks, filters, and multi-point inspections. Domestic, foreign, and luxury vehicles are welcome, including Honda, Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, and Nissan. Morgatech holds a rating of 4.50.

The shop has served Beltsville and the surrounding area for more than 7 years and is family-run. Its technicians diagnose first and repair second, following a fault to its actual cause rather than the part a code points to. After diagnosis, customers receive a breakdown of what was found and what it costs, and no work begins until they approve it. Most repairs carry a 24-month or 24,000-mile TechNet nationwide warranty covering parts and labor, including brake, suspension, AC, electrical, exhaust, and engine performance work; routine maintenance and internal transmission components are not covered. Routine jobs like oil changes and brake pad replacements are often completed the same day, typically within 1 to 3 hours.

The shop is at 6713 Ammendale Rd, about a third of a mile from Vansville Park and from Baltimore Avenue, and roughly half a mile from the Motor Vehicle Administration office. Old Baltimore Pike and Edmonston Road are each within about a third to a half mile, and Indian Creek runs about six-tenths of a mile away.

Morgatech's rating reflects positive feedback from the customers who have reviewed it. Drivers in Beltsville, College Park, Laurel, Greenbelt, and across Prince George's County have relied on the shop for more than 7 years, and its brake, suspension, and electrical work is backed by a nationwide warranty honored at any TechNet location.
