Painting with a Twist is built around the idea that no artistic experience is needed. Guests pick a painting that inspires them from the upcoming event calendar, reserve their mingle space, and bring their own wine to enjoy during the session. The brand was founded by Cathy Deano and Renee Maloney, who set out to rebuild their Hurricane Katrina-devastated community by giving people a place to relax and get creative. Their guests loved the concept, and the company has since grown to 240 locations with 1,500 artists and more than 15,000 unique painting events, with 16 million paintings created in studios across 38 states. Each studio is independently owned and operated, and this Lutherville location gives back through Painting With a Purpose events that raise funds for local nonprofits.

The studio sits at 1134 York Road, Suite 101, in the Beltway Professional Building near exit 26 North off I-695.
