Breakaway Action Dogs, Inc.

Breakaway Action Dogs, Inc. is a dog training club in Ballenger Creek, MD. It is a not-for-profit organization run by dedicated volunteers who promote the training of dogs in canine sports, including agility and obedience. The club offers a variety of classes to help handlers build a trusting relationship with their dogs, along with run thrus and open ring time that give teams the chance to train in a trial-like setting. It also holds trials in agility, rally, obedience and scent work throughout the year, at its own facility and at offsite locations, as well as seminars a few times a year that include discussion, demonstrations and focused training. Classes are taught by instructors with many years of experience in training dogs, using a positive training approach.

Training takes place in two indoor buildings located next to one another. Classes are held in both buildings in the fall, winter and spring, and in Building 2 during the summer; trials may use one or both buildings. New and experienced handlers start their dogs in Puppy Obedience or Manners Obedience, while teams that have trained elsewhere are evaluated first so the dog can be placed in the class that benefits them most. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 6-8 students and a minimum of 4. Registration is processed in the order received, and payment is accepted by credit card through PayPal or by check. The club also publishes news about its members' accomplishments in training and trialing.

Breakaway Action Dogs holds a rating of 4.50 from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting a positive reception for its classes and programs.
