Aberdeen Auto Care

Aberdeen Auto Care is an oil change and auto repair shop in Aberdeen, MD. The family owned shop handles the full range of automotive work, from oil changes and scheduled maintenance to brakes and suspension, diagnostics and repairs, air conditioning repairs and flushes, hitch installation, and Maryland state inspections. Complete engine and transmission replacement is also part of what the shop takes on. Vehicles of all kinds are serviced, and the technicians bring more than 30 years of automotive experience to the work, which includes knowing the problems commonly associated with a given make and model. The shop holds a rating of 4.30 from the customers who have reviewed it.

The team works with high quality parts and gives customers direct access to the technicians, taking the time to talk through the situation and explain it. Customers are charged only for the parts and services a job requires, and the shop builds its service around individual needs rather than a standard package. Aberdeen Auto Care describes its approach as honesty, integrity, and care, and it aims to build a lasting relationship with each customer and vehicle. Its brake service covers disc and drum systems, and it notes that brake pads, rotors, and drums are best checked every six months, with a full brake system inspection at least once a year, since maintaining pad and rotor thickness prevents more costly damage. On the air conditioning side, the shop explains that a vehicle's A/C system removes heat and moisture from the air already inside the car rather than creating cold air, and it services systems that blow only slightly cool air or no cold air at all.

The shop sits on South Philadelphia Boulevard in Aberdeen, a short distance from Custis Street, Aberdeen Boulevard, and South Philadelphia Boulevard. The Aberdeen train station and the Aberdeen Post Office are both about a tenth of a mile away, and West Bel Air Avenue is roughly the same distance from the shop.

Aberdeen Auto Care is known for the positive rating customers have given it, and for a family owned approach to auto repair that keeps drivers in Aberdeen and the surrounding area on the road.
