Owner and director Louise McHale grew up in Dublin, Ireland, and began learning Irish dance after watching her first performance at age four. She competed for fourteen years with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha and became a champion dancer. After graduating from Bridgewater State University, she opened the school while also working as a preschool teacher. Louise holds the TCRG teaching and ADCRG adjudicating licenses with Cumann Rince Dea Mheasa and was named the 2021 and 2022 Global Award Winner for Excellence in Teaching Irish Dance by Irish Dance Magazine. The school's office is managed by Mary, who relocated from Ireland to Boston in 1989 and worked in the banking industry for thirty years before joining the studio.

The facility includes three spacious dance rooms with professional bamboo and marley floors, full-length mirrors, premium sound systems, and closed-circuit televisions that let parents watch classes from the waiting rooms. Additional amenities include two parent waiting rooms, a dancer lounge, central air conditioning, and a large private parking lot. The dance program runs from September through late May, with summer camps and classes offered during July and August. The annual showcase is held each March in celebration of Saint Patrick's Day at Cary Hall in Lexington.
