Goodless Electric was founded in 1945 by Irving Goodless, who started the business behind his parents' home in Springfield, Massachusetts. Irving's brother Leon joined in 1946, and the two grew the company on a philosophy of solid workmanship, completing jobs on time and on budget. After Irving retired in 1977, Leon renamed the business Goodless Electric Company and relocated it to its current address on Memorial Avenue. Following Leon's passing, his son Jeff took over as president and continues the family legacy.
