The groomers are experienced with all breeds and special needs, and they also offer extras such as dematting and deshedding, walk-in nail trims, dremmeling, anal gland expression, and skunk treatment.

The Wellesley shop is located alongside a second Peaceful Pooch location in Needham, and the stylists at both spas are adept with all breeds and special needs dogs. Grooming appointments are scheduled by location, and the Wellesley Hills shop is open Tuesday through Saturday with last pick-up at the end of the day, closed Sunday and Monday. The wider Peaceful Pooch offering also extends beyond grooming: at the Needham location the company runs Dog Day Play Care, with day visits and multi-visit packages for pups to socialize, play, and relax, and concierge boarding is also available through the broader business.

The Wellesley grooming shop sits on Washington Street, near Worcester Street and the David H. Locke Bridge, roughly a tenth of a mile away. The Isaac Sprague Memorial Tower is about a tenth of a mile from the door, and the Wellesley Fire Department is within easy walking distance as well.

The grooming shop holds a rating of 5.00 based on 26 reviews, with customers noting that the stylists are professional, that dogs are not kept in crates during visits, and that the team genuinely cares for each animal in their care.
