As boys they made an annual Columbus Day trip into Boston to help carry 36-pound boxes of grapes, then worked in the cellar before finishing with pulls on the cast iron handle of an ancient press. The brand name Debevino is composed of the three family names, DeNapoli, Bevilacqua and Arpino, and loosely translates from Italian to English as drink of wine.

Three families and three generations now offer their expertise and share that tradition. The winery produces red, white and rose wines from premium grapes sourced from Northern California vineyards, crushed, fermented, aged and bottled locally. Its stated approach combines modern equipment and viniculture techniques with time-honored methods, minimizing chemical agents and additives to maximize the natural properties of the fruit.
