Hydro Health Wellness

Hydro Health Wellness is a Weight Loss Clinic in Pittsfield, MA, located at 51 Stearns Ave. Owner Bruce Collingwood, an I-ACT Certified Colon Hydrotherapist, has been in business since 2012. The clinic specializes in colon hydrotherapy, ozone steam therapy, far infrared sauna therapies, and IonCleanse foot therapy. The business holds a rating of 4.90 based on customer reviews. Collingwood provides services from his home, offering a quality personalized experience where client needs are of utmost importance. Modesty is the policy, and clients are always covered during treatments. Colon hydrotherapy involves introducing warm water into the colon through a pencil-size nozzle to loosen debris and normalize peristalsis. Sessions last 50 minutes on the colonic table. The equipment is FDA-approved and vented so clients smell nothing. Preparation involves being well hydrated and taking magnesium the night before. Clients should avoid eating two hours before the appointment or eat something very light. The owner recommends 12 colonics per year for wellness, at a frequency of two back-to-back colonics every two months. More colonics are necessary for special therapies such as liver or gallbladder flushes, fasting, or small intestine cleanses. The clinic operates from Tuesday through Saturday. Appointments are scheduled by calling 413-464-1493. Payment is accepted via cash or check, and tips are not accepted. A doctor’s prescription is only necessary if the client has contraindications.
