Owner and head trainer Gen Cote's journey into dog training began as a teenager working in dog daycares, where she cared for hundreds of dogs. She then enrolled at Tarheel Canine, a well-known school for dog trainers and police K9s, completing seven months of intensive, hands-on training that built a strong foundation in obedience, canine behavior, and advanced skills like scent detection, tracking, and protection. That experience reinforced her belief that every dog is an individual and training should reflect that, leading her to create personalized training programs that support both the dog and the owner. Visionary Canine is located at 3 Industrial Park Rd in Medway, about 0.2 miles from Main Street, 0.4 miles from the Charles River Natural Valley Storage Area, and 0.5 miles from Oakland Street Park, with the Great Black Swamp wetland about 0.7 miles away.
