In 1948, the funeral home moved to its current location at 854 Washington Street in Holliston. Henry retired in 1995 after 53 years of service. His nephew, Robert Chesmore, grew up in Holliston and began working with his uncle at age 12. Robert opened the Robert L. Chesmore Funeral Home in Hopkinton in 1977 and purchased the Holliston location from Henry in 1995, renovating and expanding the facility at that time.
