While Harrington Oil itself was established in 2010, the Harrington brothers each bring three decades of experience in the heating oil industry, having grown up working with their father at his own business, Holden Heating Company. The brothers built the new company around the fast, friendly, honest service their father's earlier business was known for. The service lineup includes competitive heating oil pricing, automatic oil deliveries, CAP and fixed oil contracts, 24-hour emergency service, budget plans, a Tank-Guard program, senior and veteran discounts, A/C services and installations, propane delivery and service, and plumbing services. The office at 752 Main Street is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and closed on weekends, with phone, fax, and PO Box 563, Holden, MA 01520 listed as additional ways to reach the team. The company has been voted Best Oil Services in the area every year since 2013, and customer testimonials shared on its site reflect long-term loyalty, including a Holden resident who switched to Harrington Oil two years before writing in with no further furnace problems, and a Paxton customer who returned for a second winter of purchases.

The office sits on Main Street in Holden, about 0.2 miles from The UPS Store, 0.3 miles along Main Street itself, 0.4 miles from Chaffins Brook, and roughly half a mile from the State Police Holden barracks. Shrewsbury Street and Salisbury Street are each about 0.6 miles away.

Harrington Oil is a family-run heating oil company whose three brothers bring a combined sixty years of industry experience to customers across the Worcester area.
