Haynes Private Music Lessons of Brockton

Haynes Private Music Lessons of Brockton is a music school in Brockton, Massachusetts. It provides one-on-one private music lessons for students of all ages, both in person and online, covering piano, guitar, bass, violin, cello, drums, trumpet, voice, strings, woodwinds, percussion, music theory, music production and studio work, and livestreaming. Lessons are taught by professional musicians and faculty.

The studio was opened by owner Carlton Haynes at 625 Bedford Street, and he began teaching more than 40 students. Haynes learned piano at a young age and went on to play guitar, bass, violin, and drums, all of which he teaches. He has played professionally for 25 years and has won multiple classical piano concerto competitions in different states. His musical tastes span gospel, jazz, R&B, rock, and classical styles.

Faculty members include woodwind instructor Evan Riordan, a local saxophonist with over 30 years of experience playing the saxophone. As a student at Bridgewater-Raynham High School, Riordan played in local music festivals including SEMSBA and was a member of the Massachusetts Youth Wind Ensemble at the New England Conservatory, where he played under conductor Daniel Riley. He studied classical saxophone with New England Conservatory-trained classical saxophonists and currently studies jazz saxophone performance with Berklee College of Music professor George Garzone, focusing on traditional jazz methods and Garzone's Triadic Chromatic improvisation approach. Woodwind instructor Liana Catalano also teaches at the studio.
