B J's Pizza House

B J's Pizza House is a pizza place in Pineville, LA, that has served handcrafted pizzas made with fresh dough daily since 1979. The Pineville location is one of three BJ's restaurants, with others in Ball and Alexandria. The menu centers on pizza, including the long-standing favorite known as the Full House, and extends to salads, sandwiches, spaghetti, and muffulettas. Customers can dine in, order takeout, arrange delivery, use the drive-through, or place orders online and through the BJ's Pizza app. The Pineville restaurant sits on Stilley Road, holds a rating of 4.40, and serves a customer base that has included families and regulars across central Louisiana for decades.

The business is locally owned and operated, with a management team that carries over a hundred years of combined service. The current owner began his pizza career as a dishwasher on the original opening crew in 1979 and has since guided the company through more than two million pizzas made and counting. The dough is prepared fresh each day, and the sauce uses a secret recipe built around sweet vine-ripened California tomatoes seasoned with a tangy blend. Only quality cheeses, meats, and vegetables go into each pizza, which is custom-made to order. The formula behind the operation is stated plainly: great-tasting food with fast, friendly service in a clean restaurant at a fair price. The community has voted BJ's Pizza the best in CENLA.

The Pineville location on Stilley Road is about a quarter mile from J I Barron Sr Elementary School and roughly seven-tenths of a mile from Bayou Maria. Pineville Fire Station No. 4 sits close to eight-tenths of a mile away, and the surrounding area is anchored by Old Marksville Highway and Edgewood Drive about a mile and a quarter out.

Long-time customers returning to central Louisiana after years away still make BJ's their first stop, a loyalty that speaks to the consistency of the crust, sauce, and toppings across more than four decades of service in Pineville.
