Arete Home Builders LLC

Arete Home Builders LLC is a kitchen remodeler in Bossier City, LA, offering design-build construction services to homeowners and small businesses across Northwest Louisiana. Founded by Gavin Havard, the firm operates as a full-service general contractor handling new construction, whole-home remodels and additions, light commercial remodels, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, window installation and replacement, and insurance restoration for fire, storm, and water damage. Services also include outdoor kitchen construction, patio and pergola construction, ADU construction, and detached garage and shop construction. The company serves Benton, Blanchard, Stonewall, Shreveport, Minden, and Bossier City, working across six Louisiana parishes. Arete Home Builders holds a 5.00 rating based on 28+ Google reviews.

The design-build model means one team guides each project from early design concepts through construction completion, covering site preparation, permits, foundation, framing, mechanical systems, and interior finishes. Kitchen work includes custom cabinet installation, countertop installation, and kitchen island installation. The firm coordinates all trades under a single contract, reducing miscommunication and rework between separate design and construction sides. New construction homes are built to current energy codes with foundation and drainage design matched to specific lot conditions, and remodels are sequenced for Louisiana's humid subtropical climate and seasonal storm loads. Arete Home Builders has served Caddo County for 5+ years and backs its work with a 5-year warranty, with free estimates and free inspections available.

The office sits on Arrowhead Drive, about a fifth of a mile from Willow Chute Bayou and roughly four-tenths of a mile from Round Lake. W. T. Lewis Elementary School and Northwest Supports and Services Center School are each about 1.3 miles away.

With a perfect 5.00 rating across more than 28 reviews and a single-team design-build approach covering everything from kitchen remodels to insurance restoration, Arete Home Builders is one of the most highly rated general contractors serving the Bossier City and Shreveport area.
