The story of the business dates back to 2015 when owners Louis Mazzocca and his wife Holly purchased a historic 1904 home in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. While furnishing the house, Louis began researching period furniture and discovered a passion for sourcing, identifying, and caring for old pieces. He recognized that high-quality antique items were available at reasonable prices, often requiring only thorough cleaning and light restoration. Louis found equal enjoyment in the repair and restoration process as in the original sourcing, taking pride in bringing fine pieces of the past back to life.

In January 2020, the couple purchased a building at 1021 Saratoga in Newport, Kentucky, which had previously housed a shoe shop, an antique coin company, and a home remodeling business. Louis left his corporate job to focus full-time on restoring the building, which was originally built in 1894, and launching the business. The showroom is located in the historic East Newport Kentucky National Register District. The store is open seven days a week by appointment only, and customers can reach Louis by phone or text at 859-444-8274 or via email at [email protected]. The business accepts major credit cards and most electronic payments, including Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal.

The business is known for its positive rating from the customers who have reviewed it. This high rating reflects the satisfaction of clients who have purchased or rented their antique furniture. The commitment to restoring and cleaning each piece ensures that customers receive high-quality items ready for immediate use.
