Home At Last

Home At Last is a furniture store in Topeka, Kansas. The shop stocks furniture, rugs, custom art, decor, and gifts for every occasion, and serves customers throughout the Topeka area. In-store design services are a core offering, with staff building two-dimensional layouts and coordinating stair banisters, paint color, rugs, furniture, and art into a single plan tailored to how a household actually lives. The store holds a rating of 4.60.

Home At Last brings the signature look of Thiessen Design to the store, and the owner, Tammy Thiessen, oversees both the in-shop experience and the design services. The staff includes Michelle, the friendly face who greets customers at the front of the store and has been with the team since December 2021, and Melissa, who handles unboxing and rearranging merchandise on the floor and follows up with representatives and tracks orders online. Beyond stocked goods, the shop also offers custom furniture and bespoke art, and helps customers build rooms that hold meaningful conversations, host celebrations, and inspire everyday routines. Store hours run Monday through Wednesday from 10 to 7 and Thursday through Saturday from 10 to 8, with design appointments available by request.

The store sits on SW 22nd Pl, about a half mile from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Highway. The Topeka Art Guild Gallery is just across the way, and Topeka West High School and Faith Baptist Christian School are within a short walk. Southwest 21st Street and Southwest Fairlawn Road are each roughly a fifth of a mile away.

Home At Last carries a strong rating from customers who have shared their experience, and the store pairs that reputation with hands-on design work that guides shoppers from a first idea through furniture, rug, and art selection. As a design-focused furniture store in Topeka, it offers a level of project coordination that goes well beyond a standard retail floor.
