Dr. Steve Miller, the optometrist, was born and raised in Hutchinson. He graduated from Central Christian High School and the University of Kansas, then managed the family-owned Dutch Kitchen Restaurant from 1980 to 2007. He completed his training at the Indiana University School of Optometry and opened his own solo practice, Miller Vision Care, in Buhler in 2005. After joining Grene Vision Group in 2016 and working in Buhler and Hutchinson through 2019, he opened Visionaries Eyecare at the beginning of 2020 in a renovated Hutchinson building the Millers had first considered purchasing back in 2005. Stephanie Miller serves as Business Manager, handling financial, marketing, and administrative work for the practice; she also runs a catering business, a massage therapy practice, and a homeschool co-op, and is raising six children. Cassandra (Casey) Nobbs works as Optician and Ophthalmic Technician and has been with Dr. Miller since 2015. The office is open Tuesday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, and patients have access to a portal for secure messaging, viewing and printing current prescriptions, paying bills online, updating demographics, and managing family members under a single login.
