Mike's Mobile Tint

Mike's Mobile Tint is a window tinting company in Shelbyville, Indiana, serving customers throughout Central Indiana. It handles automotive, residential, and commercial window film work, offering benefits that include heat reduction, glare reduction, UV protection, privacy, and appearance. Mike Leffler began tinting in 1985 at the age of 15 and started Mike's Mobile Tint in 2000 to provide at-your-door service. Customers with a garage that has enough room and light, and heat in winter, can have the work done at their own location; otherwise the company has a garage of its own in Shelbyville. The company uses LLumar products and offers a lifetime warranty on its work. It holds an AAA rating with the BBB and has been complaint free there since 2001.

The company describes a three-step process: customers request a free quote, the company helps them choose the best window film for the project, and installation is scheduled around the customer's schedule and lifestyle. The window films it installs can reject 99.99% of ultraviolet light and up to 82% of the heat coming through windows, which helps protect hardwood floors, carpets, draperies, and artwork from sun damage. Commercial and residential film also adds a layer of protection that can keep a baseball from coming through the glass. The company reports having tinted thousands of windows. Hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 3pm, with night drop available.

The business sits on East Pleasant Run Drive, about a third of a mile from Lewis Creek and roughly half a mile from East Michigan Road. Progress Parkway is about a mile away, as is Shelbyville Fire Department Station #2. Central Park Commons Area and Playground is about 1.7 miles away, and Little Lewis Creek about 1.8 miles.

Mike's Mobile Tint holds a 5.00 rating from the customers who have reviewed it, and it has been tinting windows in and around Shelbyville for decades.
