Indy Fiber and Surface Cleaning

Indy Fiber and Surface Cleaning is a carpet cleaner in Portage, IN, serving homes and businesses across Northwest Indiana and parts of Illinois. The company provides commercial and residential cleaning, including janitorial services, commercial and residential carpet cleaning, commercial and residential upholstery cleaning, hardwood cleaning, floor care, disinfecting, post-construction clean-up, and water restoration. It also handles government contracting work.

Indy Fiber and Surface Cleaning was started in 2016 by a husband-and-wife team out of Indianapolis, which gave the company its name, before an opportunity led the business to move to the Northwest Indiana area that same year. Mayrena King is the controlling and managing partner, with more than 10 years of experience in management, sales, and marketing in the IT field. Mr. King brings a law enforcement background, and both owners hold master's degrees. The couple researched and planned before building a janitorial and flooring services company, and Mayrena King's experience managing clients who depend heavily on their technical systems shaped how the business handles and satisfies clients.

The company's floor care work covers carpet, hardwood, tile and grout, VCT, and concrete, organized around cleaning, restoring, and maintaining floors. For carpet, whether nylon or polyester, commercial or residential, the company uses a very low moisture method with two machines to agitate the carpet fibers, a thorough approach it contrasts with cleaners that splash and dash. Hardwood cleaning and restoration is a premium service that few in the Northwest Indiana market can perform, and the company travels to homes and businesses in Northwest Indiana as well as Chicago and its suburbs to give estimates. Tile and grout work addresses grout lines that a traditional mop cannot thoroughly clean.

Indy Fiber and Surface Cleaning holds a 5.00 rating from the customers who have reviewed it, reflecting a positive reputation among those clients. For carpet cleaning in Portage, that combination of a husband-and-wife ownership team, more than a decade of management experience, and specialized hardwood and low-moisture carpet methods sets the company apart.
