Cole Academy of Dance Gymnastics & Cheerleading Inc.

Cole Academy of Dance Gymnastics & Cheerleading Inc. is a dance studio in Muncie, Indiana. It serves families across Muncie and the surrounding areas with dance, gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling, and warrior classes for children of all ages and ability levels. The studio operates two locations, each with its own phone line, and holds a 4.30 rating based on customer reviews.

Serving the Muncie community since 1948, Cole Academy is one of the longest-established studios of its kind in the Midwest. Under the direction of owner Tracy Navas since 2007, the studio runs both recreational classes and competitive teams across all five of its programs. Many students participate in multiple areas before settling into the one they enjoy most, and the family-oriented environment is built around teamwork and positive relationships. The staff includes Artistic Director Terressa Burtner and Gymnastics Director Mandee Carroll, supported by a roster of instructors pursuing or holding degrees in performing arts, sports medicine, and related fields. All staff members pass background checks before employment.

The studio offers a free trial class for new students when space allows, and families can register through the Cole Academy app or the website. Birthday parties can also be scheduled through the studio.

The Keesling location sits at 400 South Keesling Road, just a tenth of a mile from West Jackson Street and about two-tenths of a mile from South Tillotson Avenue. Westview Elementary School, Guthrie Park, and a pediatric clinic are all within roughly four-tenths of a mile of the building.

Cole Academy has been voted the best dance studio and cheer gym in the community in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, a reflection of the trust families have placed in its programs over more than seven decades.
