His classic casual style is widely regarded for its hand-crafted quality, and he has photographed presidents, politicians, and sports celebrities over the course of his career, though his favourite subjects are families. Bruce is described as calm and patient, quickly putting both children and adults at ease and drawing out natural, expressive portraits. His portraits are created to be fine-art pieces and family heirlooms, intended to be cherished for years. The studio offers a complimentary consultation where clients can share their ideas and begin their portrait session, along with a clothing guide to help families prepare for their shoot.

The studio is located on Country Club Drive, about four-tenths of a mile from Critchfield Elementary and the Center Township Volunteer Fire Department, roughly six-tenths of a mile from Legacy Hills Golf Club, and about a mile from Pine Lake Avenue.
