Northside Pet Services

Northside Pet Services is a pet sitter in Indianapolis, IN. The business provides in-home pet care for dogs, cats, and other animals, including pet sitting visits during owner travel, dog walking, and a move-in care option in which a sitter stays in the client's home for the duration of the trip. House care tasks such as operating security systems, watering plants, collecting mail, rotating lights, and filling bird feeders are included with pet sitting visits. Services are personalized to each pet's routine, with visit frequency tailored to exercise, feeding, and medication needs.

The business is led by Sherri Campbell, a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a master's degree in educational administration and nearly 45 years of experience working with both domestic and exotic animals. Her background includes managing a Humane Society, clinical veterinary medicine, and teaching and researching in the animal laboratories of two medical schools. She first started the company in the early 1990s, sold her original client list in 1999 while continuing to pet sit part time, and relaunched full-time on Indy's north side in 2009. NPS pet sitters carry impeccable references and offer free in-home meet-and-greet consultations, and the business is fully insured. Sherri emphasizes building long-term relationships with clients and their pets, and the company now serves third-generation pets for some families. Her own children, now young adults, also work for the business. In 2022 she became a snowbird, splitting time between Indianapolis and a home in South Naples, FL.

The office sits on Oakland Road, about half a mile from North Keystone Avenue and roughly 0.7 miles from J. Everett Light Career Center, Hilltop Elementary School, and Island Park, with Haverstick Creek nearby. NPS holds a 5.00 rating.

With a Registered Veterinary Nurse at the helm and decades of hands-on experience across clinical, shelter, and academic animal care settings, Northside Pet Services brings a depth of animal health knowledge unusual for an in-home pet sitting practice in Indianapolis.
