Moxey Test Prep

Moxey Test Prep is a tutoring service in Indianapolis, Indiana, led by owner Steve Moxey. The business prepares high school students for the SAT and ACT, with the aim of raising both scores and confidence. Students commonly increase their ACT scores by 2 to 6 points and their SAT scores by 80 to 180 points. Steve has been teaching the SAT and ACT since the summer of 2007 and has helped more than 3000 high schoolers around the world. He works with students through year-round small group workshops and weeklong Intensive Classes, including SAT and ACT Summer Intensive sessions, all taught over Zoom videoconferencing with a maximum of four students per session.

Instruction draws on the Moxey Methods, an active approach to mastering techniques for test day and beyond, paired with individualized coaching. Steve is a former high school teacher and performing artist, and he brings an understanding of the psychology behind preparation and performance to his classes. Students often report that class time moves quickly because of the active format. College advisors around the country refer students to Moxey Test Prep. The business holds a 5.00 rating.
