The year 2000 brought yet another owner as the downtown slowly deteriorated. The United Way of Clinton County purchased the building and leased or shared space with various not-for-profit organizations.

In 2014, small efforts were already underway to revitalize the Historic District. The building was acquired by the current owner, Jill Snyder, for the purpose of having a wedding venue and banquet hall that could rival the elegance of a metropolitan area venue. To restore the beauty and elegance of the building, the office spaces and first floor ceiling rafters were carefully deconstructed with emphasis on reclaiming and reusing as much of the original wood as possible.
