Springfield Dance

Springfield Dance is a Dance Studio in Springfield, IL. Located at 5531 International Pkwy, the studio offers instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, tumbling, acro, and aerial silks for students ranging from toddlers through adults. The business holds a 5.00 rating based on customer reviews.

Established in 1995, the studio was purchased as a small existing operation before growing rapidly. Enrollment tripled within the first two years, leading to the construction of a 5,000 square foot facility on International Parkway in 2003. This building houses four studios, two dressing rooms, two bathrooms, and two waiting areas. Director Ronda Brinkman has led the studio since its founding in 1995, bringing over thirty years of teaching experience. She has personally trained most of the current staff. The curriculum is technique-driven and designed to nurture creative spirit and leadership. Instructors are certified professionals who tailor instruction to each student's age, experience, and goals.

The studio provides multiple performance opportunities throughout the year and offers family discounts. Short sessions are available for adult tap, adult silks, line dancing, and children’s ballet, with no long-term commitment required. Summer registration is open for classes that blend imagination and storytelling for younger dancers with technique-focused training for those age seven and up. New students are invited to enjoy unlimited trial classes for one week to explore different styles and meet teachers before enrolling. Former students have credited the studio with building confidence, humility, and a lifelong love of dance, with some pursuing professional careers in performing arts.

The studio sits on International Parkway, just 66 metres from Old Route 54 and about 0.2 miles from the main road of that name. It is also located roughly 0.6 miles from Centennial Hill and Wabash Avenue, with Centennial Park and Curran Township Hall nearby at approximately 0.8 and 0.9 miles respectively.
