Kidder Music Lesson Studio of Peoria

Kidder Music Lesson Studio of Peoria is a music school in Peoria, IL, offering private instruction in instrument, voice, percussion, and piano. The studio sits within the broader Kidder Music Service operation, which has been serving the music needs of Central Illinois since 1974, originally founded as Byerly School Service by James and Floride Kidder. Alongside its lessons program, the parent operation supplies rental instruments, sheet music, accessories, and repair service through NAPBIRT member technicians, with rentals available to customers within Illinois. School representatives travel for hours in all directions from the Peoria store to serve school band and orchestra programs across the region.

The lesson studio draws on a teaching staff that includes musicians with formal training and performance backgrounds. Among the instructors is Andrew Sánchez, who holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has participated in masterclasses with jazz artists such as Ellis Marsalis and Jason Moran. Lessons are scheduled through the Opus1 platform, and the broader business supports students from beginning musicians of any age with the instruments, instructional materials, lessons, and repair services needed to succeed in school music programs.

The studio is located on N Crestline Dr, just off West Pioneer Parkway and within a short distance of Big Hollow Creek. Knoxville Avenue runs nearby, and the surrounding area includes P S Academy of Martial Arts and Lifepath School of Massage Therapy, along with Fire Station Number Fifteen within about half a mile.

After fifty years in the Peoria area, Kidder Music Lesson Studio of Peoria carries the experience of a long-established Central Illinois music operation into its private lessons, teaching students in Peoria across piano, voice, and a range of instruments.
