Peggy Corey founded Tails-a-Waggin 4U after retiring from a career of more than 25 years as a facility manager responsible for multiple office complexes. She has been a Buffalo Grove resident for 20 years and has built Tails-a-Waggin 4U around a small staff of carefully screened, thoroughly trained, and insured pet care professionals who undergo comprehensive criminal background checks. Every new client starts with a free in-home consultation visit, during which Peggy meets the family and pets and walks through the paperwork and services available. The overnight and live-in vacation care option covers dogs, cats, and other companion animals and is designed around the animal's existing routine: custom feeding and fresh water on the owner's schedule, leashed walks or backyard play for dogs, litter refresh for cats, and habitat maintenance for pocket pets and birds. A long-distance runner who has completed 28 marathons in cities including Boston, New York, San Diego, Chicago, Paris, and Venice, Peggy also offers dog running sessions for high-energy breeds. She is a lifelong animal owner, a mother of three sons, and the director of the Ovarian Cancer Support Network since 1997, an organization she has supported through marathon fundraising for ovarian cancer research and direct assistance to local survivors with out-of-pocket medical costs.

The office is located at 228 Woodstone Circle in Palatine, Illinois.

Clients consistently describe Peggy as honest, trustworthy, and deeply attentive to their animals, with several noting that the in-home care eliminated the stress of kennel boarding for cats and high-energy dogs alike. Her 5.00 rating reflects that reputation among the customers who have shared their experience.
