Solae

Solae is a gym in Northbrook, Illinois, offering heated group fitness classes built around two formats: Hot Yoga Sculpt and Hot Pilates. The studio holds a 5.00 rating from the customers who have reviewed it. Hot Yoga Sculpt is a 50-minute heat-fueled sculpt flow, while the heated Pilates mat class is a slower, precision-based flow. Both are designed to deliver what the studio calls the endorphin high, the euphoric afterglow that follows intense, heated movement.

The room is climate-controlled to 95 degrees Fahrenheit for Hot Sculpt and 85 degrees for Hot Pilates. The heat is used to warm muscles faster, deepen range of motion, sharpen focus, amplify the cardio effect, and keep the heart rate climbing even during pauses. Classes run 50 minutes and combine yoga and Pilates-inspired moves with weighted sculpt sets, cardio bursts, and blocks and bands for strength and stability work. Music is synced to the sequences. Weights, blocks, and bands are provided, and mats and towels are available to rent. Participants are advised to arrive hydrated and stay replenished.

Solae sits on Willow Road in Northbrook, a short distance from the intersection with Waukegan Road. Fox Meadow Park is about 0.2 miles away, Northfield Township Hall is roughly 0.3 miles away, and the College of American Pathologists is also about 0.3 miles from the studio.

The studio's 5.00 rating reflects how its members describe the experience: a high-energy room, contagious group energy, and classes that leave participants feeling stronger both physically and mentally. Members credit the classes with improving their endurance and instilling a lasting love of movement and wellness. For Northbrook residents looking for a heated, music-driven workout that blends yoga and Pilates with weighted sculpt work, Solae offers a distinct alternative to a standard gym floor.
