The company was founded in 2012 by Louis and Olivier, two French co-founders who left banking careers in New York City to build a flower atelier grounded in French craft. Every bouquet is hand-tied by the team, and arrangements are made locally in the United States at the company's ateliers. A second atelier opened in Chicago in 2018, extending same-day delivery to the city and next-day bouquets to surrounding suburbs and states. In 2019 the company joined forces with Bastille Flowers & Events, and in 2020 it introduced preserved roses and launched nationwide delivery. The Chicago atelier is located at 2011 West Fulton Street.
