Dr. John W. Baird graduated in 1989 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and joined his father, Dr. William Baird, who had been in practice at the centre since 1956. The clinic has been located at 369 Main Street in Markham since 1956. Dr. Baird introduced the first Spinalyzer© X-ray analysis system into Ontario in 1994. In 2005, he brought the DMX Digital Dynamic Motion X-ray system into Ontario, pairing it with the first DXAnalyzer© digital radiographic analysis system. He was granted the trademark for DMX Digital/Dynamic Motion X-ray by the Canadian Intellectual Property Office in 2006. In 2011, Dr. Baird became the first chiropractor to offer Atlas Orthogonal Adjustments in Ontario. In 2015, he co-authored a chapter in “The Craniocervical Syndrome and MRI: Observations regarding the relationship between Misalignment, Obstruction of the Cerebrospinal Fluid Flow, Cerebellar Tonsillar Ectopic, and Image-Guided Correction,” with Dr. Scott Rosa.
