Counseling Cares, PC is a mental health counselor in Macomb, IL. He is a National Board Certified Counselor and a certified Divorce Custody Mediator through the Illinois 9th Judicial Circuit Court, and he holds a master's degree in Agency Counseling and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western Illinois University. He is a member of the American Counseling Association and the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors. Craig began his career in 1990 at Bridgeway, Inc., worked at MDH Behavioral Health Services from 1995, and later ran Counseling Perspectives from 2002 to 2008 before establishing Counseling Cares, P.C. in August 2010 with Ellie and Dr. Bednarz. The team has since grown to include additional counselors and, with Dr. Bednarz serving as Medical Director, the practice also provides psychiatry. The practice schedules initial appointments within a few days and offers follow-up care shaped to each client's needs.

The office sits on South McArthur Street, within a short walk of the Western Illinois Museum and near the Macomb Police Department, the McDonough County Sheriff, and the Macomb Fire Department, with the "Tribal Rocky" and "Pirate Rocky" public art statues nearby.
