Corsa Clean Touchless Car Wash

Corsa Clean Touchless Car Wash is a car wash in Lake in the Hills, Illinois, serving Algonquin, Crystal Lake, Carpentersville, and Dundee. The wash operates two automatic touchless bays and four self-serve bays, along with five vacuums and an upholstery shampooer and vacuum. All bays accept quarters and credit cards, and a bill changer is on site for customers paying with cash. The business was formerly known as Sky Stream Car Wash and was renamed by its current owners after Corsa, their 13-year-old German Shepherd and Pit Bull mix, who may be seen on site during a visit.

The owners bring distinct backgrounds to the operation. Dan spent more than a decade as an engineer on NASCAR and IndyCar race teams, working with drivers including Jeff Gordon, Conor Daly, Simon Pagenaud, Dan Wheldon, John Andretti, and Jacques Villeneuve. Melissa holds a degree in Business Administration from Slippery Rock University, has owned and operated Dog Training Now in Hoffman Estates, and manages two AirBnBs. All equipment was back up and running as of early November 2023.

The car wash sits on East Algonquin Road, about a tenth of a mile from the Algonquin East Post Office and roughly a quarter mile from Alpine Family Physicians. Holder Memorial Park is about three tenths of a mile away, Snapper Field about six tenths of a mile, and Algonquin Middle School about seven tenths of a mile.

Corsa Clean Touchless Car Wash pairs touchless and self-serve options with ownership that includes a decade of professional racing engineering, a background that shapes how the wash treats the details of a car's presentation for drivers around Lake in the Hills and Algonquin.
