About Canine Camp
Canine Camp is a dog boarding and training facility in Jacksonville, IL. The family-owned kennel is operated by Dave and Debbie Harris and offers boarding, grooming, and doggie day camp services for dogs and cats on ten acres of wooded land about thirty minutes west of Springfield, Illinois. The facility accepts animals Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with pickup and delivery options available to pet owners in the Jacksonville area. The kennel is a member of the Jacksonville Area Chamber of Commerce and has sponsored the Morgan County 4-H Dog Care program in 2014 and each year from 2015 through 2019. Canine Camp has been named Best Pet Boarding and Grooming in the Jacksonville Area by Journal-Courier Readers' Choice in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
