It outlines Bruner's three modes of representation: enactive, iconic, and symbolic. The content also details the spiral curriculum, which introduces fundamental ideas simply at an early age for students to revisit in increasingly complex forms. Additionally, it explains the concept of scaffolding, defined as temporary, structured support from a teacher or peer that helps a learner master a task slightly beyond their independent capability. This guidance is gradually withdrawn as the learner becomes proficient. The material emphasizes that culture and language drive cognitive growth, and that students represent knowledge through actions, images, or symbols.
