For more than 20 years, he served as the sole veterinarian for Treehouse Wildlife Center, a nonprofit in southwestern Illinois, donating time, services, and supplies to save injured or orphaned wildlife. He also provided Pro Bono services to the Belleville Area Humane Society, including donating the center’s first Avid Microchip Scanner to help return lost pets to their owners. Dr. Lashley has also held leadership roles as President and Vice President of the Southern Illinois Veterinary Medical Association.
